0464 At a recent wedding, one of our bride maids asked how long Lauren and I have been photographing weddings and how long we have worked together. She said she could tell we have experience and a good way of working together.
Photography was a hobby in my teens and turned into my profession nearly 30 years ago. Lauren and I have worked together over 20 years. Longer than either of us wants to admit, LOL!
0397 We make a great team. We have it down to a science in a way. Not that we handle every wedding the same way. Each wedding and couple, families are different as is our venues and photo locations. So, we adapt to those things for each wedding.
We know what we need to do and how to do it quickly and efficiently. We call it our wedding day savvy. We know how to keep the day moving along to keep things on time and get you to your cocktail hour and reception with all of our photos done so you can enjoy your reception. you may not realize this; your photographer is the timekeeper on your wedding day. If your photographer doesn't have the experience or the ability to keep you day on time and moving along, you may not be able to get the photos you want or get to your cocktail hour on time.
With South Street, you can be guaranteed, if you follow our timing guidelines and suggestions, you will enjoy your day, have lots of fun and have great photos in the end.
0409Sony A74 BTW, when interviewing photographers, ask how long it take for them to deliver you wedding day photos. If it's longer than a week, maybe two, ask why it take so long.
We deliver in less than a week most of the time. For example, this past weekend, Saturday's wedding was ready to be delivered Tuesday evening. The couple was still on their honeymoon.
