In the last few years or so, there has been a proliferation of NON photography companies offering wedding photography.  Why?  Because they think they can make a few bucks by being a one stop shop.  Yes, you can get EVERYTHING for one low price.  Limos, dj, officiant (yes officiant), video and photography and photo booths.  You name it, they offer it.  Some even offer flowers. 

   Now, I really don't understand this mentality.  Selling something you know nothing about.  Dj's and bands selling photography.  Personally, what do they know about photography.

Am I venting?  Yes!  Just makes me wonder WHO they are hiring as photographers, editors, album designers.  

That, to me, is no consistency.  Do you really get the same service you would, should get from someone that only offers photography?  Probably not.

  If you are only concerned about price, than by all means, book the one stop shop.  However if you are truly all about your wedding day imaged being  beyond anything you ever expected, then book a professional photographer.  A photographer that specializes in weddings.  One that you know is dedicated to the art of photography.  Will deliver what you expected and more.

The art of photography, if allowed to be regulated to the one stop shop will become so watered down, the art of wedding photography will be lost forever.

Don't allow your wedding images to be anything less than they should be, SPECTACULAR!
