If you had your perfect job, what would be that job?

Well... I can honestly say, I have mine.  

Photography started as a hobby way back when...  I was always interested in how a camera worked.  Any time my mom left a camera around, I was looking at, it opening it up, (yes as a child I ruined several rolls of film) just to see how it worked.  As I got older and had my own camera, I always created my own images.  Good or bad, it didn't matter.  That I could do this was just fun.  In my teens I became the unofficial photographer for my Scout troop.  Almost never without a camera.  

Photography stayed a hobby for a long time.  For a while family and friends began to ask me to photograph their wedding.  I alway declined stating I wasn't a pro and that's what they should hire.  After several declines, I finally gave in to my cousin.  That's when I first got my feet wet with weddings.  I photographed a few wedding here and there over the years.  Finally, push came to shove, I said to my wife I wanted to get out of what I was doing and become a photographer full time.  Over 20 years later, here I am.  I've never looked back.  If I could do this all over again, I would have done this earlier.

This is my perfect job.  I wouldn't change a thing.  I love what I do and the people I work with.  I get to touch the lives of people like you, every day.  I get to capture the moments in your lives that you'll remember forever.  I get to spend your wedding day with you, your friends and family.  I get to see you start your new lives together.  I get to capture those memories.  Become part of your day and very often part of your family.
