Hi, Thought I'd let you know about this years Special Olympics.  

The 2014 Special Olympics will be held in New Jersey, mid June.  I volunteered as a photographer and have been accepted.  I have three day of photography ahead of me for this great organization.  I really don't know what to expect, never having photographed an event like this.  I'm going in with some apprehension in the fact that I have never photographed something like this, do I have the experience to capture the essence of the Special Olympics.  

I know I have the talent to capture the emotions and excitement of an event.  This is just a bit different for a wedding or portrait session.  I think (I hope) once I'm there and working, my instincts will take over and I be able to do, what need to be done.  My only really concern is, my emotions getting in the way and missing "the shot".  Again, hopefully instinct overtakes emotion.  

I'm looking forward to serving the Special Olympics, meeting many wonderful people and enjoying a great experience.
