So... What are the odds of your camera breaking down on a wedding day?  Honestly, not super likely.  What about two cameras?  Not likely at all, EVER!

Well this happened to me recently.   While finishing up photos with the guys at one particular wedding, my camera, frankly, just

stopped working.  I could hear the shutter fire, however, the display wouldn't work, the controls would not respond.  So, being prepared (and never letting them see you sweat), I quickly switched to another camera body.

A little later, maybe about 30 minutes, I'm working with a camera.  I fire the shutter.  It's just didn't sound right.  I looked through the lens, saw nothing.  Completely black.  Camera number two, goes down.  SO....,  I switch to another camera and go back to work.  I know the bride and groom were completely unaware of my problem, (I'm very good under pressure).

Actually, I could have had two more cameras go down before having a serious problem.

We must carry backup equipment for every foreseeable condition.  Camera bodies, lenses, flash units batteries.  You name it.  Could you imagine if I came to you and said,... "um, I have a problem, my camera stopped working and I don't carry a backup."

No way.  We need to be prepared.  AND we are!
