I had a very pleasant and interesting phone conversation with a potential bride recently.

One of her questions regarded the need for two photographers.  Since many of the photographer she had already spoke with said their assistant was for, and I quote, "to hand me batteries".  She also said that she was hearing from other photographer that assistants carry things and other such non-photography related stuff.

Rest assured, my "assistant" is NOT an "assistant".  Lauren and I have been working together for nearly 13 years.  Lauren is a PHOTOGRAPHER not a bag carrier.
