As you may know, my friend Martin Tremarco and I teach a week long class down in Cape May NJ each spring.  This coming May will be our third year.
 
Ou class is:
Photography 101 the FUN-damentals.
Our class covers the photographic basics while having fun.  Marty and I enjoy teaching and have a lot of fun in the process.

Our goal is for you to enjoy your time at MARS, meet new friends and catch up with old friends and polish your photography skills along the way.
We'll cover a lot of stuff over the week.  We want you to leave MARS with a solid photographic base to work with.  We want you to take away a great experience and a lot of photographic knowledge.

Shutter speeds,  
         (What they each do and how to use them to your advantage.)
 
Exposure control
Lens selection
Light patterns and more

     Just wanted to give you a shout out.  

    I recently returned from a trip to Turkey and have to tell you again, thank you for all that you taught me at the week long class at Cape May this past May.  I actually knew how to make the adjustments I needed  when working the "triangle".  The guess work was at a minimum.  I was sooooo happy.  And I shot in RAW for the first time!   I have just begun to go through my photos and am surprisingly happy with the results.  I have learned so much over the past year, but the ability to really work my camera is the best!   I actually was able to help someone on the trip get an inside shot without a flash as her images were too dark!  Who would have believed it!
