Hi
Recently while photographing a wedding, Lauren and I worked with Mike Walter of Elite Entertainment. Mike and I have been in the business for a long time. We are experienced professional. We had gotten into a conversation about being a true professional. Knowing what to expect. Anticipate things during the day. Knowing your duties. delivering beyond expectations.
First, let me say that working with anyone from Elite, we can always expect a great party. A good music mix that keeps people dancing. That helps make our job of creating lots of great reception photos that much easier.
Ok, back to my topic. That conversation and a meeting with a couple that booked us for their New Years Eve wedding got me thinking about what it means to be a true professional.
The meeting with the new years eve wedding had met, previously to our meeting, with seven different photographers. Each told her they couldn't do anything at night. "It's night, it's dark there is nothing we can do about that." Was what she was told. Well, I showed her what WE can do to create night photos. With experience and skill, we can create the photos you'll want and cherish. Being a professional, to me means, knowing your job, having the skill and knowledge and means to create your wedding photos under and conditions whether it's lighting or weather, it shouldn't matter. You should know how to deal with these conditions.
Anyone can CALL themselves a photographer. An experienced photographer with the skills, knowledge, and proper attitude is a TRUE professional and will deliver as promised maybe even beyond your expectations.
Anyone can take a photo. It takes someone special to create an image.
Here are a few photos we believe will show you why we could be
your perfect photographer.
