Setting up the scene.  How we pose or set up the image to get the look we want.  Hand position, the position of the doors, the groom.  The placement of his hands, all make the scene.  The rest is the exposure setting and a bit of editing magic.

This is an available light image.  We exposed for the light outside of the door.  That is what is lighting our couple in the image.
