If any of you know me, you know I like to kid around with people, play mind games and such.
Well, I was helping a friend with a wedding yesterday. Usually do ring shots. We take our couple's rings. Now... I always joke with my couples, tell them I accidentally drop a ring and it fell into a crack in the floor. Haha, just kidding. Here are you rings. Thank you for allowing us to borrow them.
WELL!!!! Last night the grooms ring did actually drop from my hand. I heard it hit the carpet, then nothing. No second bounce, no sound of it rolling away, I assumed the ring was on the floor by my feet. NOPE! Nowhere in sight. Now I start to panic. Neither of us heard it roll, or hit the hard wood floor in the rooms next to us. It has to be in the hall way where we were walking. By now I'm on my hand and knees looking for cracks or openings in the carpet. I figured it had to have rolled. I'm crawling along the floor. 8 feet away from where I dropped it, between the wall and an old style PHONE BOOTH, in about a 4 inch wide space is the ring leaning against the phone booth. What are the odds?. OMG! was I in a panic. I'll never joke about losing a ring again. Who am I kidding.... Yes I will.
