Things like this just make me crazy!!!!!!!!!!!
From a recent post on a photography Facebook page:
"HELP!!! I just reformatted my memory card before downloading the images from a shoot! Is there anyway I can get them back?!?!?!?!"
This was posted on a Facebook page for photographers. A photographer formatted (which completed clears the memory card for you next session) BEFORE copying her images to her computer for editing.
I'm sorry but something like this is frustrating. How in the world do you do this? Don't you have a system in place that prevent you from doing this? Why wouldn't you, immediately after the session copy your images to your computer, at least?
This is beyond me. A stupid mistake. An error that shouldn't have ever happened.
Rest assured, we at South Street have never, ever done this. We back up all our cards before leaving your wedding. Then an additional back up when we get home. There is no such thing as too many backups.
