Wow! What a week.  What can I say?  A wonderful organization doing wonderful things for wonderful people.  The Special Olympics national games first time in New Jersey.  Venues, Mercer County Park, Princeton University, TCNJ, Rider University and more.  Even the Prudential Center, the home of the opening ceremonies.

Watching the athletes compete, receive medals and even just interact.

  Congratulating each other, families cheering them on, the entire experience was so unbelievably, freaking, COOL!

Let's see... I photographed the opening ceremonies, power lifting, basketball, track & field and aquatics plus a few medal ceremonies.  

The medal ceremonies, I think were the

neatest.  Families and friends cheering for the athletes as medals are awarded.   Just a really wonderful experience.

I would volunteer again in a heart beat.   Actually I plan on volunteering locally.
