Sometimes your working conditions are not the best.

Once in a while, the weather doesn't cooperate and we're forced in doors. Occasionally at a location that doesn't have the best areas with which to create wonderful photos. We have to work, think and dig a little deeper to find a spot we can work with.
This image was created in a small bar area of a Jersey shore resort. The background is a room divider. The dramatic lighting was created with an off camera flash to the right of our camera position. I don't mind the groom being in the shadow. It highlights our bride. A little editing to bring in an even more dramatic look.
